School Counseling

Our Counseling Program

The elementary school counseling program at Deer Park is a developmental program that complements learning in the classroom. Counselors encourage students' social, emotional, and personal growth at each stage of their development. Counselors work with students during classroom counseling lessons, focused intervention groups, lunch bunches, and provide student assistance as needed.

School counselors are also available to talk with parents, consult with other professions, help with resources in the community and provide support to all of our Deer Park families. Families can reach out to the school counselors to work together to help make your child's year more successful.  Contact the counselors at 703-802-5000 or by email.
